The Victorian Amateur Chamber Music Society (VACMS) gives chamber music lovers the chance to play and, if they wish, perform chamber music at well-resourced venues through the year. It encourages chamber music playing in the community through its Play-in Days and Special Events, and through facilitating contact between its members.
VACMS enables its members to experience a wide variety of ensembles and works, and to meet new players. For some it can be the opportunity to start playing chamber music without the need to organise or already be in a group.
We welcome string, woodwind and piano players who meet our membership criteria.
